Luiz Fernando Rolla

Luiz Fernando Rolla is the Investor Relations Officer of CEMIG. He has worked for CEMIG since 1975, when he was involved in planning of the Brazilian electricity system. Later he coordinated the evaluation of projects funded by the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, KFW and Eletrobrás, among other Brazilian development agencies.

Since 1987, Mr. Rolla has been the head of CEMIG’s Investor Relations area. He supervises obtaining financial resources, managing CEMIG’s debt, controlling and coordinating the yearly budget, and analyzing and allocating corporate costs. He participates in CEMIG’s strategic planning, and organizes and conducts road shows and conference calls to inform the financial and capital markets about CEMIG’s results and plans.

Mr. Rolla was responsible for implementing the Level I and Level II ADR programs, listed in 1993 and 2001, respectively, including the ADR listing on the New York Stock Exchange in September 2001. Also in 2001, he was responsible for CEMIG’s adherence to BOVESPA’s Level I Corporate Governance practices. In 2002, he managed the listing of CEMIG’s shares on the Madrid and Barcelona stock exchanges. Mr. Rolla also participated in obtaining funds in the international market, highlighting the placement of Eurobonds and block trading of shares.

Mr. Rolla holds a degree in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in 1974, and took post-graduate courses in economics, engineering and data processing.
